About
Learn about Kian Hervey and her experiences that help you get MORE.

Kian Hervey graduated from Southern Methodist University and entered corporate America as a proud secretary. She then moved into technical writing and executive communication roles. Her experience navigating internal communications during challenging business operations (Wright Amendment repeal, MAX grounding, COVID-19 pandemic, and U.S. racial awakening) led her to Human Resources where she began tackling inclusive culture and communication strategy as a Manager, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I).
Kian's DE&I work included brand partnerships, heritage month programs, and recruiting Gen Z talent. While working in DE&I, she completed her masters from Harvard University, which led her to a consulting role in the financial services industry. Kian previously owned a career-readiness platform, Forty Magazine that helped professionals under 40 grow a career "from campus to corner office." Kian retired the magazine in 2019 as she assumed a primary caretaker role for her mother and expanded her freelance writing. When her mom passed away a year later, Kian started the More Kian brand to help MORE professionals focus on what matters most to them.

More Kian equips individuals with the compelling stories they need to get MORE for their career, business, or blog. By sharing her experiences and expertise, Kian hopes to inspire others to build a career and lifestyle they love.
